Ruby Lucy Hotel London a new build hotel development will be the first UK hotel for the Ruby brand. The scheme will provide 76 bedrooms spread over floors 1 to 4 with the ground floor being given over to the hotel in front of the house in the form of reception, bar and general seating areas.

The basement of the building houses the hotel back of house areas including the major plant room for the building. In addition to the hotel works, we will also be completing shell and core construction to 5 retail units that are located on the ground floor and retail areas.

The building is a reinforced concrete frame from the basement up to level 3 with a steel frame completing the structure up to the roof at level 5. The building is clad in a mixture of curtain walling, GRC and Petersen brickwork.

We had the full waterproofing package for this project which included the main roof which was EshaFlex warm roof construction finished with Radmat's Medo Green roof using Alfa Biodiverse Wildflower plug plants.

There was also a large number of private terraces for the hotel rooms that we waterproofed using PermaQuik Hotmelt system with a slabbed finish chosen by the main client.
